City Centre 01Taksim
Taksim is where most journeys end and most evenings begin. Istiklal Avenue runs from the square down to Galata, lined with boutique hotels, rooftop bars, and a century of café culture. It's the most requested drop-off point on our books, and for good reason — almost everything is within walking distance once you arrive.
Historic Peninsula 02Sultanahmet
Sultanahmet is Istanbul's open-air museum — Byzantine and Ottoman landmarks standing within a few hundred metres of each other. Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapı Palace can all be visited on foot from a single drop-off point, which is exactly why this is one of the most efficient half-day routes we run.
Arts & Views 03Galata
Galata rewards anyone willing to walk uphill. The neighbourhood around the tower has become Istanbul's design and gallery district, with Karaköy's waterfront cafés just below. Come for the view at sunset and you'll understand why photographers treat this route as a standing appointment.
Bosphorus-side 04Ortaköy
Ortaköy is the postcard shot of Istanbul — a waterfront mosque framed by the Bosphorus Bridge behind it. The weekend craft market and waterfront kumpir stalls make it an easy, low-effort stop to combine with a longer Bosphorus-side itinerary.
Nature Retreat 05Sapanca
Sapanca is where Istanbul residents go to remember what quiet sounds like. Lakeside boutique hotels, forest trails, and a cable car up to Kartepe make this a popular weekend booking — close enough for a half-day trip, calm enough to feel like a real break.
Iconic Landscape 06Cappadocia
Cappadocia is a full trip in itself, and we treat it that way — this is the one route on our list best paired with an overnight stay rather than a same-day return. Hot air balloons lift off at dawn over a landscape that genuinely looks unlike anywhere else in Turkey.
Aegean Coast 07Bodrum
Bodrum is Istanbul's summer release valve — whitewashed hillside villages, a castle overlooking the marina, and beach clubs that don't get going until well after lunch. It's a long way down the coast, but it's consistently one of our most requested long-distance bookings between May and September.
Turquoise Coast 08Antalya
Antalya pairs resort infrastructure with an old town that's actually worth wandering — Kaleiçi's narrow lanes lead straight down to the harbour. It also makes a practical base for day trips to Pamukkale, which is why we see this route booked as much for logistics as for the beach.
